I just checked out some galleries in Chelsea and came upon the work of photographer Nicolai Howalt.

These two images are part of a series called “Car Crash Studies,” when I saw them they were so amazing. I’ve included another image from this series, and some images from a series he did called “Boxers.” These are sweet because they kind of remind me of people after they ride, your all pumped and your heart is pounding, and even if you ate shit you still love it (not as much though). The  car crash studies reminded me of this photographer by the name of James Welling, he did so much sweet shit back in the day, just really abstract but beautiful. My dude was in the Whitney biennial, not that this means anything, because sometimes the Whitney biennial sucks.
