In the spirit of Sharing

Oh yeah, after much worrying my bottom b, Platnizzle is a ok. After about $500 or so we found out she was constipated. Let this be a lesson, don’t feed you pets dog food it’s bad for them. Feed your dog scraps that’s what they ate for 1000 of years before Alpo. Well, she finally did a dookie for daddy. Thanks for all of you who worried.

I’m getting older and slower, so I decided to start listing all of the spots that I ride in my hood, so that maybe others can enjoy them too. The only problem is that it’s snowing outside as I write this. I’m going to creat a map on google maps which anyone out there can access so that they can see the spots that I have tagged, and I guess add their own.

As this post was being put together I realized that I’ve spent alot of time riding by myself, not just now that I live in JC (Jersey City) but even when I was rolling on Shaolin. It’s not that I thought it was cool to go ride around alone, peoples schedules just don’t always work out, especially when riding around late at night. Personally there is good and bad, I can ride one spot all night and never leave or do anything that crazy just bunnyhop around or do some manuals. Then there are times that I would rather have some people to ride with, there is just motivation there that you don’t always get when you’re cruising alone. The other problem is that I have eatin shit pretty bad by myself, and thank god (with a capital “G”) that I never knocked myself out, because I would definetly have woken up without a bike or wallet.

The other thing about riding is that you have to explore everything. Sometimes the coolest shit is smack in the middle of the worst neighborhood. As long as you go in there to have fun and have respect for the people NO ONE is going to fuck with you. If you look like a pussy though, then your fucked.

Well enough of that.

Jersey Barrier hip thingie

So this spot is located on Center St. and Brook St. in downtown JC. It’s on the side of the off-ramp of I78 so don’t fall over.

Warehouse Spot

I love this spot, it’s located on a dead end street, 9th and Brunswick St. It has a bank to ledge which you can over icepick if you’re smooth, then it has another bank to loading dock, with a few bank to windowsill’s mixed in between.

Bank to ledge

This is the doubled sided ledge, it’s tighter than your little sister.

This is the same building, but another gem. Notice the asphalt all creeping up the side of the building.

Mr. Man rail

Case in point, the first time I tried to do this rail, I ate shit. Or more like my back peg dragged along a few rungs, then I got bucked off.

Close up

I’ve got some ideas for this rail. I still haven’t made it all the way across yet. That’s cuz I suck though, this rail slide’s lick greased lighting.

Hockey Ring

This place is dope, the dudes from Nine Lives skateshop installed most of these ramps I think. There is so much shit nothing huge, except for the little vert quarter which I definetly put to good use a few times. I’m not going to brag, but it was kinda a big deal; seriously.

Between 8th and 9th on Brunswick St. Also, it’s only open on Sundays now. Some asshole decided that since kids where cutting school to go here he’d look it for the rest of the week. WTF! What about the 30yr old dude who wants to ride after work?

You know it's good when there are razor scooters!

Loading Dock

The first time I rode this spot I thought it was waxed. I tried to double peg it and flipped over the handlebars. I was glad I was riding alone that day.  Corner of 2nd st. and Provost St.

Lil' nib spot

This spot is right up the block from my house. It’s a nice little two stair manual pad, great for learning shit, at least I think so.

Grand St. and Monmouth

CHICKEN POT PIE. No, no pot.

In case you’re all wondering what I’m doing for the winter months, I’ve decided to endeavor into the Culinary field. Check out this fuckin’ sweet ass chicken pot pie I made. Holla at me, I do events. Fuck this photo thing.
