12 Questions with Shane Rossi

I feel honored to ask Shane these 12 Questions and it was the easiest 12 questions I have done so far. I emailed this to him and he emailed me the answers back with photos in a hour.

1 How is the new career going?

I sell real estate in Bronx, NY.

Its going good, I finally popped my six figure cherry in 09.

2 Do you miss Animal Bikes at all?
Of Course…I miss Osso and Ralph, all my friends I met thru Animal, and the job itself. I’m glad to see they are doing well in this tough economy and got new products coming out.

3 Who was your Favorite Bike Shop to sell to?

I have a lot, I would say Ed’s in Vineland, NJ cause he is very loyal to the scene and a really nice guy.

4 Has your riding inproved since you got a girl friend?

I ride much more now than ever. I’m not burnt on bike riding anymore since I don’t live it. I ride H-town every Monday with lil Jeff and ride Animal with Eddy and Osso often.

5 Do she ride with you? Tell us about it.

She doesn’t ride, but she is very open to it. She wants a pink bike but I havn’t got her one yet. She is 31 years old I think a little too old to ride bmx lol. Her son is 10 and I’m going to get him into it soon.

6 How do you feel about NYPD?

I just think they are unfair to people living in the 5 boros and I think Bloomberg runs NY like a business instead of a City. I really hate NYPD traffic pigs.

7 If you had 24 hours to live what would you do?

If I had 24 hours to live fuck it, I’d eat a basket of fried chicken and drink a Nantucket.

8 What is your favorite song ever?

Probably a tie between “Give up the Goods” and “Winter Warz“. I like Big Noyd‘s verse and Cappadonna’s. Probably one of best ever written in my eyes. But than there is Banned From T.V. which has the illest beat.

9 How many times have you visited Paris?

Never. Me and Ed really want to go soon.

10 How do you feel about BMX these days?

It seems a little better than it did in ’06-’08. But honestly I still have fun riding with my friends. My favorite year was ’02-’03 summers at union.

11 Tell us something people don’t know about you?

I got beat up by a UFC fighter and he broke my jaw and nose. My jaw is still fucked up 3 years later.

12 How do you Feel about Tree bikes?

I don’t know a lot about tree bikes. I guess they are cool. I used to own a Manmade Riders from Hell tee shirt until Bruce Crisman made fun of me when I was 16 years old. But that has nothing to do with Tree bikes.
