  1. Don’t just talk about it, be about it. Let’s go scouting for warehouses.

  3. first off my appologies for slacking on the posts school was reel busy i would be up for 4 or 5 nights straight at a time but thats done so nevermind the excuses. what these dudes did in chicago is awesome and the reasons why we hadnt thought of this first is because the younger generation in my opinion lacks certain dedications. theyve got a skatepark. they can go ride whenever they want. and all of the people who would have been down to do this here (all of our boys who help build and rode the south beach and rosebank ramps), most of them dont ride anymore and have to work longs hours and other such life things that become more pressing issues the older we get. but the love for this type of thing cant end there these are poor excuses of reasons why we havnt gotten together to collectivly build somthing since the destruction of the south beach ramp. now everyone is talking about whos house there gonna build ramps at and how there gonna go in deep making the illest shit to ride. thats all well and good however, singular ownership greatly denotes and will eventually lead to the destruction of a community. it also makes for hostility and easily outcasts people when disagreements come about. when we had the old ramps in the woods it wasnt about whos house it was nothing was singular we all owned, operated and contributed to what was there and its upkeep. we spoke about the place using plural terms stating that this was OUR spot.
look at what we have now. weve got a prefab skatepark that is falling apart, and not only that its falling apart but the angles and radius’s are wrong and we cant even fix them because were not allowed to. we let ourselves get played by the city and the parks department 2 too many times and it discouraged all of us. everyone of my friends from the older generation must have forgot where they came from and how we got stuff done in the past. the truth is that no one is out to help us and if we want to make something happen we need to go do it ourselves. i am absolutely tired of going to a park where i dont even ride much because i dont like how the ramps are built or set up. but anyway i know yall have gotten the point if you read this far. get off your asses and do something. get together and do somthing because all i see when i go down to the park is a bunch of people who ride there only because its easier to go there and deal with the problems accepting what you have been given then going out finding a place and creating somthing better. FUCK ALL THAT!

  5. lets get to work then! theres no point waiting around for this indoor sk8park petition to get somewhere, because its not going to. the city doesnt care about us. if we want something done, we’ve got to take matters into our own hands.
