China Trip 2011 – Post #1

Earlier this month Tom, Sebass, Drew, Gary, Guy and I headed out to Shanghai to ~~find ourselves some non english speaking wives~~ meet up with Kane to experience China and live like fucking millionaires. On our trip we ate some weird foods and rode some sweet shit. This is the first of 2 or 3 posts I’ll be doing… check out the photos below.

This is a picture of Tom on the flight to Tokyo. As you can clearly see he is way fucked up on Ambien. After this photo he proceeded to take a picture of Guy and show him that he had four eyes. I guess he needs to get that Drug Free tattoo removed now.

Ed Pollio’s list of poisons just grew by one. Ambien = Poison.

After roughly 24 hours of flight we met up with Kane and got some street meat. I wonder what this dude is cooking?

Damn thats one big noodle… oh wait that’s an entire lamb penis.

We had to shit real bad after eating all that lamb penis. Squatting and shitting all over the floor really isn’t that bad, it’s actually a lot easier to get it out. It’s just gross when you’re sitting there with a pile of steamy shit sitting under you, thus resulting in many of my poops ending prematurely.

You don’t really realize how disgusting your shit is when its submerged in water. Shitting on the floor has given me a new respect for my bowel movements. This is Sebass’ gem right here.

This is the side street thats off the main road that we were staying on. It was a pretty crazy sight especially when you realize that these are homes/businesses.

Here is one such home/store front. Guy got a sweet mullet haircut here while the rest of this ladies family chilled out on the couch. Check out the dude on the left doing some matrix type shit. This haircut cost $1. Right across the street was a dentist.

People don’t give a fuck in Shanghai, as is evident by this photo of this dude sweeping the sidewalk/street in his boxers. I say sidewalk/street because the people driving don’t give even more fucks. You can expect at any moment, no matter where you are standing, for a moped to come up flying behind you beeping like crazy.

I told you they don’t give a fuck. This lady is riding side saddle on a moped while talking on the cell phone and holding some bags… oh and she’s holding a baby. This wasn’t even the craziest thing I saw. Entire families on mopeds, people hauling piles of gas canisters on mopeds, even little boys peeing off of moving mopeds. You can also kind of tell from the photo that any kind of street rules don’t apply to mopeds. These people will be driving on the sidewalk, going the wrong way down busy ass streets, driving in the crosswalk, weaving in and out of traffic and blowing lights left and right. In fact I don’t think I ever saw one moped stop at a red light.

People like Catfish, Adam22, Dennis Enarson and Rob Wise have had the pleasure of staying with Kane just to name a few.

Endless sea of mopeds. Everyone drives a moped. Also check out the sweet banks on those stairs.

Yours truly shredding the streets on a slippery marble bank to wall. We took a ride around town with Kane and there was little street shit everywhere. Marble ledges everywhere you looked. Shanghai is like a giant PS6.

This picture will give you a better idea of what kind of street there is everywhere you turn. Too bad it was 100 degrees+ almost everyday. The second you step outside you were soaked in sweat. Not the greatest riding weather.
