Subject: bmx bike stolen staten island hylan plaza

Hey guys i just wanted to ask if you can make a post because my bike has been stolen today January 10, 2012 at around
6-630pm right in front of the cvs in hylan plaza near kmart and path mark. The bike was basically my life and i am devastated
that it is stolen. There are no cameras outside the storefronts and i even went to the precinct and they couldnt do anything.
Ill be making flyers soon and there will be a small reward in info that will lead me to the thief and getting my bike back.

Here is a description of my bike:
Raw bare metal fbm gypsy frame with red stickers saying Supreme; in white letters.
Black bars w red-orange ODI grips
Black fork
All chrome front wheel Odyysey 7KA chrome spokes, laced to black Gsport marmoset hub
Black cranks w/ Green Odyssey JCPC pedals
Red Tree spline drive sprocket
Kmc Kool Chain silver
Red and black back wheel red rim black spokes laced to a red hub
Leopard print Bone death pivotal seat w/ blue animal pivotal post
Black fit faf red wall tires

Thank you for your time and any help is greatly appreciated.

I would do anything to get my bike back and find out who the thief is.

Benjamin Soto's Skateparks First Rally

Posted by on May 16, 2011 in News, Photos, Politrikkks, Random | 0 comments

So Sunday we had our first ever rally for the Ben Soto Skatepark.  It happened right outside of the Skatepark that once existed on Father Capadano Blvd.  It was actually a really cool event. Jenny got a permit from the precinct so we could do it legally. Thank You Jenny!  We showed up and the police brought our own metal barriers and stuff so they could cage us in like the animals that they think we are, and there were anywhere from 3 to 5 cop cars there throughout the whole day (really shows where your tax dollars are going towards!).  But besides that, it was real cool to see what a $45 permit could get us, it was pretty legit.  The turnout wasn’t as big as we were expecting, but the weather wasn’t helping much either.  Either way, about 50 people showed up and we had a good time and got our point through to the community

We started the day at about 11:30. It was rainy and gross out.

Me and Ed took a walk to the gate to see that the Benjamin Soto Skatepark sign was no longer there.  We were then asked to leave by the Pep cops because we “werent allowed there”IMG_4838

It started off slow with only a few peopleIMG_4845

More people started to show up once the weather cleared up a little

They got paid to do this, all day

Carolyn from CD skateshop was familiar with a bullhorn, and Cara made shirts that made a lot of sence.  This one said “we want to see and engineer’s report, not osama’s body, so lighten up and produce it”..This is the same woman who gave us “we are Ed Pollio!”, its quite evident that she has a bag full of  expressions that make loads of sence

Just thinking about the endless lines that could be done on this rail, such a great set up…

The turnout was great, and I think we did a great job letting the community what the problem is, even without any media.

Max Fish was in the news again after it’s doors were shut by the NYPD last week. Allegedly the bar was serving people under 21 and didn’t abide by New York’s state law that prevents establishments from serving alcohol after 4AM. An online petition has been setup to help show your Support For Max Fish.

An afternoon with the NYPD

Posted by on Apr 15, 2011 in Random, Videos | 2 comments

Ed is gonna love this one. A guy on a bike gets a ticket for riding on the sidewalk when another dude walks by and cracks a joke and experiences the NYPD at their finest. Tax dollars well spent.

If I was the dude on the bike I would have rode away as soon the pigs lost their focus.

Posted by on Jan 14, 2011 in News, Photos | 7 comments

I don’t know where to start with this night. Shane called me and reminded me about the event. I picked up Marc we and got there about 815 pm.

Shane Rossi was already there running a muck. There was an open bar from 8-10 Pm.I asked Edwin where the proceeds from the photo sales where going when the photos sold. he said the Edwin fund.
Shane was wacked at about 9. Long story short Shane bangs on one of Edwins photo and gets kicked out.
Then somebody called the Cops on the place. When the cops came with the Department of Buildings and everybody got kicked out. The  So we headed to Max Fish.
Here are some photos.

This is how Shane writes a check to the DMV. After he finished giving Bloomberg $140.00 more of his hard earned money he went to Dunkin Donuts to see his tax dollars in action. You got to love New York

King of New York this weekend

Posted by on Aug 5, 2010 in Events, Photos | 0 comments

The Group Home Bikes team will be rolling deep at King of New York this weekend (8-7-10 – 8-8-10) at Tompkins Square Park. Ed, Alex, Vinny and I were working hard last weekend building some ramps for the event so it should be a pretty sweet affair. Word on the street is that the New York Pricks and Dicks will be contributing to the event as well.

I can hardly believe I saw this. Alex actually doing some work.

Not sure what time the event starts, but we’ll be there around 10am. Heres some info about the event from the King of New York website.

“The 2010 King of New York® will be held Saturday August 7 (Tompkins Square Park – Flatland and Street Jams) and Sunday August 8 (Cunningham Park – Dirt Jam) and is FREE to all.”

We’ll be filming the event so check back here during the week for an edit.
